5th May – The German Golden Retriever Club Special Breed

A
very very rainy day where dogs exhibitors, judges and helpers all got wet ….
but the hot coffee, giant sausages cooked hot & fresh on a barbeque
and the abundance of a variety of
delicious homemade cakes kept the spirits up and made for an enjoyable day …..
which was made even better in spite
of the rain with all
4 of dogs that we took ALL getting
1sts
in their respective classes and our Philomena going Best
Bitch & Best of Breed !!!
For Sebastian , Noah and puppy Jelly it was a first to be in the tent and kept snug and dry undercover while the rain poured outside.
Today
our 6 month old ‘Jelly’ -
Ramchaine Belly Dancer ( Dewmist Lawrence of Arabia ex Ch. Ramchaine Jaq of
Hearts JW)
made her debut into the show ring and pleased us immensely
by showing and standing well for the first time shown
….. and for getting 1st ‘Very Promising’ in her 1st show in the Puppy Bitch class ! A great start for our baby girl !
Noah
of the Hellacious Acres ( Ch. Dewmist Servantes ex Ch. Philomena of the
Hellacious Acres) thought it fun to be out on the grass
and getting muddy and showed with bounce and enthusiasm to win 1st
Excellent in his Junior Dog class with the JCAC.

Since gaining his 3 CHAMPION titles at only 2.5 years of age our Int Sh Ch / German & VDH Ch Beethoven of the Hellacious Acres has to go now into the ‘Open’ class and became 3rd in the strong class of 5 UK champions .
Sunday 27th May – Gundog Breeds Association of Scotland Open Show, Lanark, Scotland
After
Bath championship show & a good time visiting family nearby,
we drove the long journey to Scotland where Charmaine was judging both
sexes of Golden Retrievers, pictured above is the Best Bitch who became BOB ,
with the judge and
the Best Dog.

fantastic outdoor showground with huge grassy rings for the dogs to show off
their movement,
sadly it rained & rained & rained so all got very wet , but despite the weather,
it turned out to be a fabulous day for CH
