We start this year without our beloved ‘Barnum’ ~ UK Sh Ch / Int Sh Ch/ Dutch Ch/ Danish Ch/ Swedish Ch/ German & VDH Ch Barnum of the Hellacious Acres –

He was our ‘Cupid’s Arrow’ ~ without his UK campaign in 2008 Charmaine and Bart~ would have never got together …… we are lucky to have three super daughters from him here and quite a few grandchildren to carry on his loving ways , super nature, fabulous construction and wonderful breed type.

Our special Jazmin ~ Multi Ch Remington Requisite of Ramchaine ~ had her 15th birthday on 3rd January , she has had an amazing show career and been a wonderful brood ~ winning The Dog World TOP BROOD BITCH Award for 2007, 2008, 2010 & 2011 !!! What an AMAZING girl she has been!!!

Jaz won 10 CCs & 4 RCCs in total (before, between and after each of her 4 x wonderful litters) Her first UK CC was at just 22 months of age under Janet Barrow (Halebourne) and her crowning Challange Certificate under the great late Yvette Mannings(Gatchells), with her last at 10 years young before leaving the UK for a European Campaign …. Where she defied being a veteran and became a Dutch Champion and a German Champion with multiple Group placings in her grand old age of 10 years!!

Our heartfelt thank to her breeders Penny Gowland and Paul Gibbons for our precious girl.

24th January HERRENBERG DRC Specialty Championship Show
Dog Judge – Marlene Sillence ( Canina)
Bitch Judge – Sheila Watkins ( Tamarly)

1st Excellent in Intermediate Bitch was Rosita Putters Ramchaine Pink Paradise

( Belgian Ch Thornywait Aceymac ex Ch Ramchaine Moonstruck)

Ramchaine Monkeynut ( Multi Ch Barnum of the Hellacious Acres ex Multi Ch Ramchaine Jaq of Hearts JW) was 2nd Excellent in the large Open Bitch class

Ch Lizanna of the Hellacious Acres ( Multi Ch Beethoven of the Hellacious Acres ex Ch Jacquetta of the Hellacious Acres) was 2nd Excellent in the quality Champion Bitch class

We had 3 boys of our breeding in the large Open Dog Class of 19 entries…. And ALL three were placed in the final four !!

Ramchaine Moment of Truth ( Multi Ch Majik Truth or Dare ex Ramchaine Monkeynut) was 3rd Excellent in the huge Open Dog Class

Orinocho of the Hellacious Acres ( Multi Ch Barnum of the Hellacious Acres ex Moondust Ophelia ) was 4th Excellent in Open Dog

Ramchaine Motif ( Multi Ch Barnum of the Hellacious Acres ex Multi Ch Ramchaine Essential JW) belonging to Rosita Putters was 1st Excellent in Open Dog. This win gave him his last point needed to become a GERMAN VDH CHAMPION!!!

Also successes in January for Ramchaine Pink Paradise who became 2nd in Intermediate at the GRCN Open Show and 1st Excellent in Intermediate at Neurnberg CACIB Show in Germany getting the VDH CAC.

Friday 6th February - EINDHOVEN International Championship Show

The FIRST Dutch Championship Show of the year and Bart had to work being a weekday , so Charmaine travelled on her own with Seb and made a GREAT START with CH Lizanna of the Hellacious Acres

winning BEST BITCH with the CAC & CACIB !!!
