Vogue is our first “joint” golden owned together as a partnership. Her mother is litter sister to our SH CH Ramchaine Essential JW.

Born on 20/08/2008 very shortly after we decided that we wanted to be with each other, combine our dogs & somehow our lives, even though we were living in separate countries. She left her breeders Sue and Peter Francis at 8weeks to come and live with the Ramchaines in England:- who was to have known she was to become such a star!

Vogue has had the most amazing Puppy/Junior career in the show ring and far exceeded our expectations for her. She is a true showgirl, with a super showy disposition, loving every minute of the limelight & applause. She gets an adrenaline buzz from the moment she enters the showground, so can always be seen to be enjoying herself to the full & edging to be noticed!

Both Vogue & Jazmin go back with Bart after the show to Holland to join the “Hellacious Acres” of Willow Farm ……… and more shows in Europe.

At her first show in Germany Vogue won 1^st in the Jugendklasse with the Junior CAC & Junior VDH CAC awards at the Deutscher Retriever Club Show in Emkendorf .

( 11 x championship show 1^st s plus 3 x Open show 1^st s – 25 points needed for the UK “JW” Title) . It will be her last show in the UK till Crufts 2010

3^rd October 2009 – Vogue has her first show in Holland – the IJSSELSHOW – International Championship Show – Zwolle –judge Mr. F. Johnson.

Then to our delight she went - BEST BITCH & BOS with her 1^st Dutch CAC (….but was still too young to be awarded the CACIB as still under 18months of age ….which then went to grandma Jazmin…)

20^th February .. Vogue turns 18months of age and ends the most spectacular puppy & junior career.

By 18 months of age, Vogue has a multitude of fabulous results to credit her name; ~ 3 x CACs in Holland ~ 3 x CACs in Germany ~ 6 x Best Puppy in Breed &
4 x Best Bitch. She also has achieved 7 x official junior titles in 4 x different countries and can now proudly carry the following abbreviations after her name :

‘J.W.’ = UK Junior Warrant Winner

‘LJK’ = Luxembourg Junior Champion

‘DJK’ = German Junior Champion

‘ VDHJK’ = VDH Deutscher Jugend-Champion

‘NJK’ = Dutch junior Champion ( Nederlands Jeugd Kampioen )

She also gained the titles of “Bundesjugendsieger’09” - Bjsg.’09 and “Amsterdam Junior Winner ‘09” – A jW’09

This was Vogue’s 4^th Dutch CAC – which normally would mean her Dutch Champion Title … however FCI rules state at least one CAC needs to be won after the age of 27months …… so still at the very young age of only 19months – Vogue has to wait before gaining her crown!

As our first joint acquisition together, Vogue was chosen along with Barnum (who was instrumental in throwing “Cupid’s Arrow” during his stay with the Ramchaines in 2008 and to bring us both together) to be our ring bearers and attend our wedding and celebrations with our family and friends in Scotland in August 2010.

Vogue has her 2^nd birthday while on holiday in Scotland during our wedding week …… so no more intermediate or yearling classes ….

1^st Post Graduate Bitch at The Welsh Kennel Club All Breed Championship Show – 22/08/2010 – judge : Malcolm Godefroy / Fenwood (UK)

*** Vogue went on to win her first Reserve Challenge Certificate at this show !!

1^st Excellent in Open Bitch with the CAC at Luxembourg International All Breed Championship Show – 04/09/2010 - judge : Mrs. A. Rhodin (Sweden)

*** Vogue went on to win Best Bitch with the CACIB award and gained her “Luxembourg Champion” title at this show !!! Lucky timing as after she completely blew her coat!!

Sunday 21^st November 2010 – “The GRCN GOLDEN GALA” Vogue had qualified to compete in this spectacular knockout match between all the ‘Silver Spoon’ winners of the previous year ( in the Netherlands a dog wins a “Silver Spoon” if it becomes a Veteran Champion, a Junior Champion, or Best Dog / Best Bitch with the CAC at a Championship show ). She was still not back into full coat but enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere and being in the spotlights!! ..she got through the first two rounds to be knocked out only by the eventual winner of the day!

28^th November 2010 - Holland’s prestigious ‘Amsterdam Winner All Breed Championship Dog Show’ – judge : Elena Ruskovaara (Finland) ………. A memorable day for us as our super showgirl Vogue …. who turned 27months only the week before … gains the required final CAC (and also the CACIB ) to gain her crown as a
DUTCH CHAMPION !!!

Vogue went on in the challenge to win the CACIB and become BEST BITCH at this prestigious FCI 100^th Anniversary show …… which meant that she had now exceeded the required full calendar year between the number of CACIB awards achieved in over three countries (Holland, Luxembourg, Belgium & Germany) to be crowned as an “INTERNATIONAL SHOW CHAMPION” …… and add yet another title to her name!!!

Multi Ch. Velvenya Vogue of Ramchaine - 3rd Excellent in the Open Bitch Class – which had the biggest entry of the day with 47 bitches !!
judge - Hilary Lambshead (Muskan) in her critique she wrote : “A good size cream bitch of quality. Balanced head. Excellent front and bone. Super shoulder and upperarm. Strong topline. Well turned stifles enabling her to move soundly and with drive. Very well presented.”

‘Vogue’ did it again. She won her Champion bitch Class very convincingly and thrilled us by becoming Best Bitch.

This was the last of the Golden Retriever Club of Germany Championship Shows for the year …… and an important one as the results would be decisive for the various club titles on offer for the year ; & this class win gave Vogue the added points needed to gain the title of 'GRC Clubsiegerin 2011'
